USZ delegation at the EUGLOH 2025 Annual Summit Porto

Several members of the University of Szeged took part in the Annual Summit of the EUGLOH Alliance.

The European University Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH) held its 2025 Annual Summit in the historic city of Porto, with the University of Porto hosting more than 400 participants from 35 institutions and 18 countries over the course of three days. Under the guiding theme “From Vision to Impact: European Universities Shaping EU Innovation and Competitiveness,” the event brought together university leaders, students, academic and administrative staff as well as external stakeholders from 22–24 October 2025. Together, they reflected on the role of European Universities in driving innovation and competitiveness through transnational cooperation in education, research and knowledge transfer.

University of Szeged has send an extensive delegation of 23 people, including Prof. Dr. László Rovó, the Rector of the University of Szeged, Prof. Dr. Márta Széll, the Vice-Rector of the University of Szeged. Representatives from Work Packages, Academic, Administrative Staff members and Local Student Board memebers also had the excellent chance to attend the Annual Summit in Porto.
